CT3572 - A very important governor cap clip for the GM 700R4 Transmission, 1982-1993. If you are missing this clip, the pressure in your transmission may eventually blow your governor cap off resulting in a mess of red fluid everywhere. Your governor could actually fall out if the cap is not in place. You will find your governor cap near the rear of the transmission case on the left side. Crawl under there and take a look. It's easy to install and will save you a lot of trouble down the line.
