CT7789 - A new manual control shaft (linkage) seal and throttle valve seal for the Cast Iron Powerglide Transmission for the years 1955 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 1960 & 1962. This seal kit will solve one of the most common leak issues on the Cast Iron Powerglide, where the shift linkage connects to the case and the throttle valve connection. 

The linkage seal for this item is a METAL CLAD linkage seal.  The original cast iron powerglide selector shaft seals were rubber but many people find the metal clad linkage seal better to seal a leak.
